Questions & Answers

Why should I try intravenous hydration therapy?2019-08-28T15:55:23+00:00

It’s the most effective way to elevate vitamin levels in the blood and rehydrate the system, while at the same time bypassing the gastrointestinal tract. Vitamins are then available for immediate use at a much higher concentration, and are deposited directly into the cell.

When is the right time to get an IV?2019-08-28T15:55:00+00:00

Before or after an athletic event, after a big night out on the town, if you’ve had the stomach flu, anytime is great actually. Staying hydrated means your body will function at an optimal level.

How long does a session take?2019-08-28T15:54:42+00:00

After a brief medical questionnaire, we begin your hydration immediately. Most patients can expect to be back to their routine in 45 minutes or less!

Who administers my IV?2019-08-28T15:54:13+00:00

We hire only fully certified and credentialed EMT’s, Paramedics, and Nurses to administer your IV.

Do you offer customized treatments that are not advertised on your website?2019-08-28T15:53:37+00:00

Yes we do! Ask a member of our team for more information.

Is one treatment all I need?2019-08-28T15:52:57+00:00

No one eats protein just once and other nutrients are no different! It’s never a bad idea to remain consistent with your IV treatments so that you feel great and your body performs at an optimal level.

Won’t drinking water do the same thing as an IV?2019-08-28T15:52:28+00:00

We love water, but it lacks electrolytes. And water still has to be absorbed in the digestive tract so it takes time for your body to properly restore its fluid balance. Not only is IV therapy the quickest way to restore fluid loss, it also helps to replenish vital nutrients.

Do you have any age requirements?2019-08-28T15:44:08+00:00

Yes we do. Elevation Hydration requires that patients be at least 18 years old, however we do accommodate younger patients on a case by case basis such as high school athletes. Please contact us for more information.
